How the program works

Lady Bandit Studios’ remote program connects Hawaii's UX/UI aspiring designers with people like you—seasoned designers from across the globe who act as their mentors—to collaborate on real business projects with one of Alpaca VC’s 90+ portfolio companies. During this 6-8 week design sprint, you will help your intern deliver implementable solutions for apps, websites, and/or products. Project work may include:

This creates a pathway for aspiring designers to showcase their skills and gain the necessary real-world experience to launch successful careers. What we’ll need from you

As a mentor, you’ll:

• Work with 1 intern on a single project
• Lead strategic direction & provide design guidance
• Commit to ~2-3 hours per week on average

To qualify, you must be:

• Mid-level UX/UI designer with at least 3 years of professional experience
• Available during Hawaiʻi Standard Time (HST) hours, regardless of location.
